More like 4.5 stars

I like this application so far. I say so far because i’ve only been using it for about 2 weeks now. My main use so far have been for converting movies and online videos. The only problems that i’ve come across so far are the subtitles and the minor bits of information that only a O.C. kind of person (like myself) would really care about.

The subtitle problem that i’m having is that it seems to permanately burn the subtitles into the movie. Maybe i’m missing something, maybe there’s a way to turn that off, but I haven’t been able to find how to fix that. The other problem has to do with small bits of information thats visable when i look up the movie on iTunes. Other than that, this app has worked very well for me. I recommend if you’re wanting an app with multiple choices and if you’re a little on the OCD side. But if you’re content with a simple converter kit and don’t really care about ocd’ing the hell out of whatever, then go with Handbrake. It’s free and very simple to use.
